Overall, over 200 club sides will compete in the John West Féile na nGael Camogie and Hurling Finals 2024 across 20 venues nationwide this Saturday.
Twenty-four club sides, comprising 500 camogie players and hurlers, will descend on Halo Tiles Wexford GAA Centre of Excellence in Ferns for the John West Féile na nGael Camogie and Hurling Division One Finals 2024, which also marks the 50th anniversary of the Camogie competition.
In the National Hurling Competation, Castlewellan will play in Division 2 being hosted by Davidstown Courthacuddy GAA Club, Wexford, while Bredagh Camogie will travel to Gusserance, Co Wexford to play in the National Division 3 competation.
In the regionals, Kilclief Hurlers travel to Ballymena, Co Antrim (Region 2), while Clonduff and Portaferry take part in Region 3 (being hosed by Clonduff). In the camogie regionals, Portaferry will host Region 3 which sees Mayobridge and Portaferry take part in that group. Castlewellan Camogies travel to Mullaghbawn for Region 6.
The finals have grown to become one of the biggest underage sporting events in Europe.
For sides outside the top division, almost 200 teams comprising 3,640 players, will take part in John West Féile na nGael finals taking place at 22 venues across Ireland on the same day.
The Féile Peile na nÓg (Gaelic football and ladies’ football) national division one finals will take place at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence at Bekan, Co Mayo on Saturday, July 29 when finals for teams outside division one will also take place at 20 venues nationwide.
Almost 4,000 players will be involved in Féile Peile na nÓg finals this year. 2024 also marks the 30th anniversary of Féile’s LGFA element.
A side will represent Australasia at Féile Peile na nÓg, while clubs from the US, Europe and UK will be take part across both weekends.
John West Féile brings together thousands of young hurlers, camogie players and Gaelic footballers in a celebration of the GAA’s community ethos through underage competition.

National GAA Féile Chair, Diarmuid Cahill, highlighted that "Féile is a unique occasion that brings together young players from all over the country for what I know will be a great weekend of fun, enjoyment, create new friendships and memories for all our visiting teams, mentors, coaches, supporters and volunteers."
