Anniversary: Eamonn Burns

Today we take a moment to remember Eamonn Burns on this the First Anniversary of his sudden passing.
We recall a giant of a man who won two All Irelands in 1991 and 94, a man who gave of his very best every time he pulled on the Red and Black of Down. We think too of a man who stepped up and served his County again as Team Manager, Eamonn Burns was a true son of Down and we remember him today and as days go by.
To Sinead, to Cathal and Thomas, you are in our thoughts and prayers, you lost a husband and a father taken from us, all too soon.
